Irene Gonzalez
Irene was referred to us by a nurse/receptionist that works in the hospital her husband receives chemotherapy. It broke our hearts when we found out they were only 15 minutes late to one of there appointments. Irene’s husband couldn’t get his pain medicine since he missed that appointment so we knew we had to step in and help them out!
Brittany Ducote
Brittany Ducote is a divorced mother of three who has completely changed her life in such a short period of time. She has beaten her addiction for alcohol and drugs and is an active member of Journey Church. She now cares for all three children and is working full time. Brittany has truly been an OVERCOMER! We were so honored to help her with the van for her family!
Alanise Lockett
Alanise is studying Animal Science at A&M University. Her first semester was so overwhelming because she had no transportation and everyone she knows lives here in Houston. The whole semester she struggled to find a reliable transportation. She is a wonderful full time student and also maintains a job. Her mother was searching for a car just right for her daughter but started to lose hope until she heard about us!
Elischa Campbell
Elischa is the true definition of perseverance. She never lets anything get in her way and we were happy to join in that path! Though she has gone through so many tribulations with her health and finances she has never let them defeat her nor does she claim to be affected. She continues to strive for a better life.
Billy Dinh
Billy Dinh is 20 year old student studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Houston. He is the first of two children to attend college. His parents are immigrants from Vietnam and have always worked day and night to give their children an opportunity to enhance there knowledge by letting them attend school. We wanted to be a part of Billy's success and we had to help!
Linda Villa
Linda Villa works as a nurse at a doctor's office. All day she dedicates her time to helping others. She takes extra time and extra care of those ill. Linda is constantly concerned with the health of other's it goes unnoticed that her husband was facing a terminal illness as well. With medical bills, children to care for, and emergency expenses we had every reason to step in!
L.R. Griffin Jenkins
Mrs. Jenkins is professor at a local community college. She is well known for her high spirits and positive attitude. She's always trying to help her students and peers in anyway that she can. No one had any clue the struggles she was facing everyday. Within a short period of time her husband suddenly was very ill, car problems accumulated, and income was shortened. She never gave up hope because she lives by these words "...I press toward the goal for the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." We were so honored to help such a deserving person.
